Weather experiences in Santo Antão
The weather in Santo Antão is rated 3 out of 5 stars by 1 visitor.
We were in Santo Antao in the Paul Valley in early January 2023. Because of the high mountains around you and the relatively low sun, you have relatively little sun in the valley. Also, because the air here rises against the mountains, clouds easily form that temper the sun. As a result, it cools down relatively quickly and extra clothing is required. On the villages on the coast such as in the capital Porto Novo it is much sunnier and therefore warmer.
