April means lovely warm weather in Quito. The sun shines brightly, but because of the altitude, little heat. Don't forget sunscreen! It rained occasionally, but that didn't bother us.
The climate during the day was moderately warm with lots of sunshine, ideal for walks and visits to the park. Evenings were cool but cozy. A coat was necessary. Unfortunately, we had showers, but they were short.
Pleasant temperatures during the day and quite cool at night, so bring a coat. Some sun and rain can be expected, but not excessively so. Make sure you are prepared for both situations.
Although there was frequent rain in Quito, this only added to its charm.
The evenings can feel a bit cool.
February in Quito brought us changeable weather. Sunny mornings followed by rain in the afternoon. The temperature varied between 10°C at night and 20°C during the day. Comfortable to wear in layers!
