Surprisingly, there was less rain than expected. Cloud cover often relieved the oppressive heat. However, an umbrella was required.
The days often began sunny, but it rained in the afternoon. However, the temperature was pleasant for a walk in the park.
Sunny moments alternated with cool days and light rain. Nevertheless, warmth prevailed and the overall atmosphere was surprisingly refreshing.
July in London was mild with moderate rain and sunshine. The weather was typically British, unpredictable but generally pleasant enough to enjoy. Dress in layers to be prepared for changing weather conditions.
While the wet conditions were suitable for sightseeing in traditional British pubs, it was definitely not a place for sun or snow. Dress warmly!
August was surprisingly mild in London, with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately, the beautiful weather was frequently interrupted by unexpected rain showers. Not a typical sun spot, but the occasional sunny spot was nice.
Not really suitable for outdoor activities. A warm coat and an umbrella are necessary items. Don't wait for sunshine or snowflakes.
Don't expect sunny days or snowy fun. Warm clothes and an umbrella are required!
I was here in 2015 in early December and then it was quite warm for the time of year. We walked there then without coats. It was also exceptionally warm then in the Netherlands.
