The Yucatan Peninsula

The Yucatan Peninsula is located in southeastern Mexico. The climate in this region is tropical, with temperatures averaging 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit (21-32 degrees Celsius). Yucatan can also be quite humid. Rainfall is quite erratic, but is usually highest in the months of June and July.

Baja California Peninsula

In northwestern Mexico lies the peninsula of Baja California. The climate in this region is desert-like, with temperatures averaging 57-82 degrees Fahrenheit (14-28 degrees Celsius). However, it is important to note that the nights can be quite cool, so if you are visiting during the winter months, bring a coat.

Central Mexico

The central region of Mexico has a more temperate climate. Summers here are hot, with temperatures averaging 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). In winter, it is cool. Rainfall is sporadic and can often be quite heavy when it does happen. The wet season runs from May through October.

South-Central Mexico
