During the day it was quite cool, around 5 degrees, and at night the temperature dropped below freezing. Overall, it appeared to be quite stable, but you have to be prepared for sudden rainfall.
The fall colors are spectacular, especially in the mountains. Be sure to bring a coat; the evenings can be cold.
Moderate temperatures during the day were ideal for hiking and swimming. In the evening it got cooler, which was pleasant. But sometimes you have to expect unexpected rain showers.
The April weather in Slovenia was a pleasant surprise. The days were pleasantly sunny with temperatures around 20 degrees, but evenings could be cool. There were a few rain showers, but it refreshed the air. Overall, very satisfied.
