We had some spectacular thunderstorms that made the canyon even more impressive. It was cool at night. In short, a good experience, albeit a bit unpredictable.
It was a little cool during the day, but the sun shone often and it was pleasant. Nights were quite cold, so be prepared for that. In addition, the weather was perfect for exploring the parks.
Beware of sudden rain showers. Beautiful clear night sky.
During the day, the temperature is mild and pleasant for hiking. However, it can get quite cold at night. Unfortunately, we faced an unexpected rain shower.
Daytime temperatures rose above freezing and nighttime temperatures dropped well below freezing. This contrast created a breathtaking snowy landscape. Despite the cold, it was worth it!
The rating fluctuated, which is actually a wildcard. Enjoy and prepare!
