There was virtually no rain, making the landscape too dry for a perfect score.
July in Yemen proved warm, without excessive heat, ideal for sightseeing. Although not a typical beach destination, the mountains were breathtaking. Be sure to bring plenty of water during your trip.
During the day it was hot but not muggy, and the evenings were pleasantly cool. Abundant sunshine made sightseeing pleasant, although sporadic desert winds raised dust. Highly recommended for winter sun lovers!
Temperatures can reach 38 degrees, so be prepared for extreme heat. In the evening it is slightly cooler, but still wonderfully warm. Not a perfect 5 stars because of the extreme heat.
September in Yemen is warm with lots of sunshine, ideal for sunbathers. High temperatures and an almost complete lack of rain. Too hot for some, but perfect for heat lovers.
