February in Rovaniemi was incredibly cold, but magically beautiful. The temperature dropped well below freezing, but the purity and tranquility of the snowy landscapes made up for everything. Be sure to wear warm clothes!
The days are long, bright and crisp, but the cold at night may surprise you. Expect direct sunlight until midnight, but don't forget to bring a winter coat. The crystal clear blue sky is interrupted by spontaneous showers. Exactly half a glass.
The weather was unpredictable: sometimes sunshine, sometimes rain, sometimes even snow. It's fun to experience the seasonal changes, but warm clothes are a must!
Daytime temperatures were around -10 degrees Celsius and the constant snowfall made for excellent skiing conditions. Sure it was cold, but the breathtaking winter scenery made up for a lot!
Although it was not particularly warm, the sun made for a wonderful and unique experience. Too cold for a summer destination.
Although there was no snow for winter sports, the "white nights" where the sun barely set were spectacular. Make sure you have good eye masks!
The snowfall is heavy and constant, ideal for winter sports. The temperature can drop as low as -15°C, but the northern lights illuminating the dark sky more than make up for it.
During the day it was perfect weather for hiking, around 15°C. At night it cooled down considerably to 5°C. There was no snow, but the clear air and beautiful nature made up for everything.
The temperature is changing, the days are getting longer. For those who love winter sports and the long-awaited sun: go ahead!
The amount of snow and the northern lights made this place a magical winter wonderland. Despite the cold (-10°C to -17°C), it was truly an ideal place for winter sports.
Ideal cold conditions for snow activities. A true five-star experience!
Slightly warmer than expected, but not as sunny. It was fun to explore, but swimming or sunbathing was not an option.
